Erik Gudris is a media and communications expert with over 15 years marketing and distribution experience specifically for organizations, producers, non-profits, and associations.
After getting his start in education marketing with Scholastic in New York, he then served as National Sales and Marketing Director for Choices, a boutique documentary distributor based in Los Angeles.
During his tenure there, Erik oversaw the marketing and distribution of 50+ independent documentaries, specifically to educational and non-theatrical markets.
From there, Erik consulted on non-theatrical distribution and marketing for the award-winning documentary “For The Love of Liberty: The Story of America’s Black Patriots.”
Later, he served as Communications Manager with Outcast Films, a leading documentary distribution company focused on environmental and social justice films.
Erik then headed to Washington, D.C. where he served as Associate Director of Marketing and Video Services for NAFSA: Association of International Educators. During his six year tenure, he produced multiple video segments and interviews serving the organization’s 10,000+ global members.
